Wink, wink. Bullett magazine feature our new Eyelash Sunglasses in their latest issue. This Valley of the Dolls shoot perfectly captures fashion’s offbeat fifties mood.

Styled by John William (who is also our in-house stylist!), the shoot blends candyfloss locks, digital prints and tailoring. All eyes are on accessories, and where would a sixties siren be without her shades? Our classic gold rimmed aviator frame is topped with sculpted black plastic eyelashes, perfect for budding Brigitte Bardots.

Have a peep at the Eyelash Sunglasses and matching Eyelash Sunglasses Necklace here.

Tatty Devine's Harriet Vine in The Sunday Telegraph

“Here I am in my studio room at home, in yesterday’s Sunday Telegraph. I like to be surrounded by things that mean a lot to me, and there wasn’t space in the Telegraph to talk about everything. I wanted to show you around a bit more, so here’s the story behind some of the other objects in the room…

I love Rob Ryan, and the starry night fireworks print under the worktop is one of his.

There’s a cassette tape made out of wool and cardboard to the right of my head, made by Rachael Matthews of Prick Your Finger, from a show she did in our Brick Lane store.

The big hat is actually a Vivienne Westwood, given to me by Bernstock Speirs, which is a brilliant hat designers next door to us on Brick Lane.

Leaning against the wall is a print of ‘found’ homemade record sleeves by Stephen Fowler and Rocky Alvarez.

My ukelele is from the Duke of Uke - I’ve been learning for about three years now.

The wallpaper brush hanging by the window is my grandfather’s. He was a window dresser for the British Shoe Corporation and came up with the “back to school” marketing campaign. My mum was the first “back to school” girl in the adverts!

The jardinières by the wallpaper brush belonged to my nan.

I love big rulers, and one of my longest ones which is two metres long is attached to the edge of the top shelf.

My velvet dress is vintage. It has lovely beaded cuffs. The beads fall off everywhere – every time I go anywhere in it, I leave a little puddle of black beads. And my necklace is, of course, Tatty Devine. It’s the big gem owl from the last Autumn/Winter collection.

There’s nowhere better than a car boot sale for picking up things with character. I always check yourbooty.co.uk to locate my nearest car boot sale wherever I am. Find yours, and go rummaging for treasure.

If you’re creative, it’s good to have your own home studio space, even if it’s just a little desk in a corner. You need somewhere to stick stuff, otherwise you forget about it. Keep inspiration all around you.”

We’re big fans of Studio Music, which features playlists by artists and designers. It’s like Spotify, with a curator. There’s something fascinating about listening to other people’s playlists, especially when those people include Tracey Emin, Rob Ryan, Peter Blake, Fred Butler, Polly Morgan and more…

Music has always played a large role in Tatty Devine, providing the soundtrack to the design process and even inspiring the jewellery itself. If we aren’t debating Beyoncé’s latest video, we’re hunting down new songs to make us dance at our desks. Luckily, Studio Music asked Team Tatty for our work playlist, providing the perfect opportunity to showcase our favourite tracks.

Find out which tracks made the grade and listen to our ultimate playlist here.

Some of our most iconic pieces take their inspiration from music. Back when Tatty Devine began, Harriet lived with lots of boys in bands who would leave plectrums all over the house. She started to collect all the different colours to make into jewellery and the Plectrum Charm Bracelet was born!

Fancy yourself as a bit of a guitar hero? Turn it all the way up to 11 with this Volume Brooch in white. Rock on!

One of the things we never get tired of hearing is that “working at Tatty Devine must be like working in a sweet shop!” Well, Tank magazine have taken this quite literally in their current Nostalgia issue. Flip through to Viktor Vauthier’s ‘Anaïs World’ shoot and amidst the dreamy, glamorous snaps, you’ll find up and coming model Anaïs Pouliot taking a bite out of our Junk Memory Bead Necklace.

Anaïs is working this season’s shimmer trend in a House of Holland metallic blue jumper, with the Junk Memory Bead Necklace colourfully draped over the top. This necklace was inspired by art made out of junk (which we think is beautiful), and the way objects hold memories. Tatty Devine has always been about transforming plastic, which is seen as a junk material, into jewellery you want to keep forever. We think this ties in perfectly with Tank‘s current theme of nostalgia and the precious nature of our memories.

London Fashion Week is rapidly approaching and any fashionista worth her Mulberry satchel is worshipping at the altar of the latest issue of Vogue.

Across its glossy pages, legendary fashion photographers weave dream-like scenarios featuring the most luxurious brands of the moment. Take iconic snapper Mario Testino’s shoot for the new March issue of British Vogue (page 289):

Clad in a melon green skirt suit, our heroine teeters perilously on the edge of a leather banquette, russet hair tumbling to her shoulders. A daisy encrusted handbag swings from her wrist and pointed slingbacks give an edgy, retro feel.

But wait – what’s that around her neck? Only a standout piece from our new collection, the Posie Chain Necklace in gleaming white perspex! The tumbling white blooms hang from a chunky gold chain – a glamorous piece that holds its own against her other accessories.

So forget the snow and start mentally building your Spring/Summer wardrobe around this statement necklace. Well, you’ve got to beat the fashion pack at their own game, haven’t you?

Buy the Posie Chain Necklace.

If Tavi Gevinson made a version of Paris Hilton’s ‘My New BFF’ we think these girls would definitely be in the running for the prize, with their post grunge denim cut offs and charity shop inspired knits….and a bit of Tatty Devine of course! Can you spy our small orange owl pendant in amongst the teen angst……

Tatty Devine owl pendant

Did you spot it? We think it looks at home hanging out in a forest over a vintage sweat.

If you’re going to attempt to skate through leaves and soil, you are definitely going to have that expression on your face! Although the skates do match Che’s jumper and Tatty Devine necklace so that’s something to smile about.

Loving Flora’s spacey digi print tee with a cosy reindeer and polka dot print cardigan over the top to keep warm! She could definitely work a patchwork ring in the peacock colour way into that look.

We’ve had a snoop around Rosie’s house in Time Out, and now it’s time for a look around Harriet’s pad in this feature for super crafty magazine Mollie Makes. The building Harriet lives in was formerly an old shop and workshop, but Harriet and her husband have filled it with beautiful recycled and rescued furniture, objects and trinkets to make it their home. Take a peak inside….

Harriet and her family looking rather snazzy in front of a good looking collection of records!

Bebe learning some cookery skills from her mum.

Peek-a-boo! Teddybear adopts a nonchalant stance while Harriet pops her head round the door (but as soon as the door closes he will be after the fish again).

Anyone recognise this gal? Yup, it’s one third of our Brick Lane trio, Kirsty, making a sneaky appearance!
