The Eel zine is a Hackney institution. It's a publication of wit and wonder, with its ear to the ground for the best local stories, all put over in a knees-up fun style. It's a diamond in the rough, and a slippery East End fish.
This issue focuses on Clapton and Homerton (or 'Claperton' if you squish them together). There are character studies, a feature on famous local bookshop Pages of Hackney, Tintone Guitars who make beautifully handcrafted guitars out of biscuit tins and chair legs, and an interview with Pinball Geoff, the king of pinball machines!
