Fat Quarter (the name comes from patchwork) is a 'countercultural ladies' mag' and we think it's great. Its a glossy little slip of a thing, refreshingly light on adverts and full of chirpy, knowledgeable, fun articles. Reading Fat Quarter is like having a cup of tea with a good friend. Their diary section will have your calendar booked up till December, there's an interview with 80s indie heroine Kristin Hersh, underground guides to Leeds, Norwich, Cardiff and Southend from hip people who live there, and an article by the founder of The Virginity Project. Throw in some spot-on reviews and bento box recipes and you've got a full fat magazine.
