Freshly published... in Perspex!

Calling all bookworms! This Saturday is National Book Lover's Day and we're celebrating with a peek back through the archives at a very special project. Back in 2008, the Victoria and Albert Museum asked us to get creative with a copy of Aldous Huxley’s novel Antic Hay as part of their Blood on Paper exhibition. Our updated version was to be revealed at a very special Friday Late event, so we knew it had to be Tatty-tastic!       Ta-da! We recreated the iconic Penguin book cover in classic orange and cream Perspex, complete with intricate laser etched and hand inked detailing. It even came complete with a handy pair of spectacles and a chunky golden chain to help you carry your latest read around in style! One lucky V&A visitor actually won this one-off piece for their collection. Was it you? Feeling inspired to try out the librarian look? Add our new Glasses Large Necklace in Tortoiseshell to your collection:   Why not immortalise your favourite book quote in Perspex as a personalised Speech Bubble Necklace? Harry Potter fans, this one is for you: Learn how to get crafty with our book, "How To Make Jewellery With Tatty Devine". Discover Rosie and Harriet's top tips for jewellery making and create your own unique jewellery:   What's your favourite book? Share it in the comments below or tweet us!
