Iggy Pop Doghouse I wanna be your dog... Our new exhibition features a rock'n'roll, dancing dogs video screening in a kennel built by the artist! Using Iggy and the Stooges' classic track 'I Wanna be your Dog' as a catalyst, cult film maker Nick Abrahams explores the iconic status of the Stooges within alternative and mainstream culture in an unusual installation and film. doghouse-film-logo DOGHOUSE is a tribute to Ron Asheton of the Stooges and an examination of the role rock'n'roll plays in our group psyche... plus dancing dogs! The film is named after the classic Stooges album 'Funhouse', and includes video and a selection of stills from the filming by Nick and acclaimed photographer Toby Amies. What is a dog but a machine for loving You introduce him to a human being, giving him the mission to love And however ugly, perverse, deformed or stupid this human being might be The dog loves him. Bring down your pet dog and choose from a variety of Tatty Devine's acrylic pop colours and super cute bone or circle shapes, then let us personalise it for you! Nick Abrahams has worked with bands such as Depeche Mode, Sigur Ros, Stereolab, and the Manic Street Preachers and is currently making a film with Turner Prize winning artist Jeremy Deller.
