Sometimes it seems that all you ever receive in the post is bills, takeaway leaflets and yet more bills. Thank heavens for the appropriately named Not Another Bill, the monthly gift subscription service. Each month, a carefully curated and beautifully wrapped surprise present is sent to your door - the perfect antithesis to junk mail!
Each month's gift is sourced with the aim of introducing subscribers to amazing artists, designers and brands. We love the idea behind the service and jumped at the chance to become one of three designers creating exclusive gifts for September's edition of Not Another Bill.
Inspired by sun, sea and sand-filled trips to the British seaside, we created this dinky Chip Fork Necklace. We don’t recommend you eat with it but this cheeky chip fork serves as a delicious reminder of Britain’s national dish.
Lasercut from matt gold perspex and beautifully inscribed, it’s a cut above your usual chippie cutlery. The perfect summer accessory, we have made a limited number of just 300 at our London workshop.
Is our Chip Fork Necklace making your mouth water? Don't have a Not Another Bill subscription? Well, you'd better enter our new competition! The winner will receive both our Chip Fork Necklace AND a 6 month subscription to Not Another Bill.
Simply answer this question:
What is the most interesting thing you have ever sent or received in the mail?
Leave your answer as a comment on this blog post and our favourite will win! The competition closes at 12 noon on Wednesday September 12th. By entering the competition, you agree to subscribe to both the Tatty Devine and Not Another Bill newsletters. These keep you updated with all the latest news and offers and you are able to unsubscribe from either at any time.
Since there can only be one competition winner, for a limited time you will also be able to buy the Chip Fork Necklace from the Not Another Bill online shop. Dig in!
UPDATE: Thank you for all your entries. Congratulations to the winner of our competition, Lydia! Here is the most interesting thing she has ever sent through the post:
"I collect vintage magazines for crafting and home inspiration and was flicking through an early 60s edition of ‘Derbyshire Life’ magazine when something caught my eye. I spotted an interiors feature on a house in the next village from mine, so I cut it out and posted it to them. I don’t know who lives there now, but I hope they’ve enjoyed seeing pictures of what their home looked like 40 years ago – and I wonder how much it has changed over the years."
We love the idea of receiving such a kind surprise in the post - especially if we didn't know the sender! Lydia wins a 6 month subscription to Not Another Bill and the Chip Fork Necklace we created for this month's subscribers.
