Freshly published... in Perspex!
Calling all bookworms! This Saturday is National Book Lover's Day and we're celebrating with a peek back through the archives at a very special project. Back in 2008, the Victoria and Albert Museum asked us to get creative with a copy of Aldous Huxley’s novel Antic Hay as part of their Blood on Paper exhibition. Our updated version was to be revealed at a very special Friday Late event, so we knew it had to be Tatty-tastic!
Ta-da! We recreated the iconic Penguin book cover in classic orange and cream Perspex, complete with intricate laser etched and hand inked detailing. It even came complete with a handy pair of spectacles and a chunky golden chain to help you carry your latest read around in style! One lucky V&A visitor actually won this one-off piece for their collection. Was it you?
