The dainty Holly Necklace was a such a big hit that we even had to bring it back this year!
Mrs Claus would be proud to be seen in our cute matching Holly Earrings:As for Saint Nick himself? We can see him in our hand curved Perspex Holly Brooch: Food inspired jewellery looms large in our history. Back in 2012, we recreated traditional German gingerbread in walnut wood, painstakingly 'iced' with laser cut Perspex detailing. It looked almost too tempting to resist - maybe we should open a Tatty Devine bakery...? Sweet toothed? So are we! We couldn't resist creating a special miniature version in glossy enamel, alongside a necklace, cufflinks and earrings, too:
Forget novelty jumpers! In 2012, the Christmas Spirit Necklace pieced together holly, mistletoe, bells, a bow, two chirping robins and a cracker, all in gleaming mirror Perspex:
We even made a miniature Cracker Bang Necklace... ... and sparkling Cracker Bang Earrings: Of course, it wouldn't be Christmas without a sprinkling of snow! This shimmering update on a design from our Autumn Winter 2005 collection captured the magical effect of falling snowflakes in iridescent Perspex: With storms raging across the UK right now, we could all do with the cosy mittens from our Autumn Winter 2009 collection! Each piece was etched and hand inked with anchor, herringbone and heart detailing: "Shall I play for you, pa rum pum pum pum, on my drum?" Marching bands also were a key inspiration behind AW09 and this cute hand painted brooch and necklace were perfect for little drummer boys and girls everywhere: One of our favourite festive moments is decking our homes with fairy lights (Harriet once even dressed up as a twinkling house for a Team Tatty Christmas party!) Back in 2008, we designed a glittering range of star and reindeer jewellery. The best part? Each piece was hand studded with Swarovski crystals:
We even created Flying Fawns in black and red glitter Perspex as a kitsch take on retro ornaments: There's nothing better than fashioning yourself some cutting edge accessories from leftover wrapping paper and ribbon on Christmas Day! The Parcel Bow Headband and Bracelet took this perennial past time to a chic new level in mirror Perspex with a silver leather: Lastly, well, we couldn't miss out this classic Tatty Devine piece! Back in Autumn Winter 2004, we recreated Quality Street sweets as a gleaming charm bracelet and brooch. Bagsy the purple ones! Take a peek inside your jewellery box - will you be wearing one of these designs on Christmas Day? Don't forget to Tweet us your snaps or hashtag #tattydevine on Instagram if you do! This is just a sneak peek into the Tatty Devine archives (there's simply far too much to showcase in one blog!) but keep your eyes out in 2014 for the chance to get involved with some very special 15th anniversary celebrations...
