Meet Kat from Rock n Roll Bride!

Rock n Roll Bride, the ultimate guide for the alternative bride, came about when blogger Kat was planning her own wedding back in 2008. Finding a lack of content and advice for alternative weddings, Kat created what has now become one of the biggest wedding blogs in the world! And as we love meeting other women that have turned their passions into a business, we’d like you to introduce you to the amazing Kat Williams…

Tell us a bit about Rock n Roll Bride...

Rock n Roll Bride Is a blog and print magazine for alternative brides (and grooms!) wanting something a bit different for their weddings.

What’s your top wedding planning tip?

Just one? Wow, that’s hard. I guess I’d say that while you don’t have to spend a lot of money on your wedding, photography is the one thing really worth investing in. It’s the thing left from the day after its over and you’ll be looking back at these pictures for the rest of your lives! People often don't realise the true value, and importance of their wedding photographs until afterward, and of course, you can't go back and have a re-do if you don't like them!

Fave Tatty Devine piece?

Again, just one!? I love my Dental Bling clutch bag but the large Iridescent Bubbles necklace and the Iridescent Pastel Rainbow necklace are pretty special too! (Adds to Christmas list immediately)

Tatty Devine often host private parties and hen do jewellery making workshops, what would be your dream make?

Oh, anything rainbowy, sparkly and fun!

Who or what inspires you?

Everything!

How would you describe your style?

Eclectic! I wear a lot of blacks but I’m also rather partial to rainbows, sequins and crazy patterns. My ideal outfit is a black bodysuit, a black leather skirt and a ridiculously over the top rainbow sequin kimono! I tend to dress to reflect the way I feel on that particular day.

Five things you can’t live without?

My husband, my cats, my phone, my computer and a lovely cup of tea.

Mermaid or Unicorn?

A unicorn with mermaid hair.

What's next for Rock n Roll bride?

World domination!
