With a spring in our step we’ve marched through the month and haven’t had time to look back, until now... Here’s our round up of what has been happening in the world of Tatty Devine.
CRACKING EASTER FUN We had an EGGstravaganza searching our studio high and low for chocolate and turning hard boiled eggs into cute characters! Our Studio Manager Hayley created the clown and was crowned our champion Easter egg decorator!
THE BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD Taking a bite out of the food fashion trend, we added sushi, pretzels and sandwiches to the Tatty Devine menu to satisfy your jewellery cravings! You’ve all been loving the Sandwich Stack Bangle on Instagram - which order of fillings is your favourite?
STRANGE AND FAMILIAR We headed to Barbican to check out their new exhibition curated by the amazing Martin Parr. To celebrate, we redesigned our Chip Fork and Fried Egg Necklaces exclusively for Barbican, nodding to Parr’s love of a classic greasy spoon. Naturally we took this as the perfect opportunity to head to our local and tuck into a couple of fried eggs and chips ourselves! Mmm...
STUDIO SUSHI MAKING Harriet showed us her sushi making skills in the Tatty studio one Friday lunchtime and taught us how to make our very own maki rolls! Jewellery Maker Sarah put her steady hand to the test to decorate a cute rice bear with a seaweed face, monocle and bow tie - she even named him... Everyone, meet Richmond!
SATURDAY CLUB Harriet hosted a fun Saturday masterclass at the University of the Creative Arts in her native Rochester, to show members how to design, develop, prototype and finally make their own piece of jewellery. We’re all about showing off your style and personality through jewellery, so it was amazing to see everyone’s unique creations!
TEAM TATTY STYLE Our store stars are always a source of style inspiration for us, we LOVE seeing which designs they’re going to wear next, and this month they upped the stakes! Lauren and Charlotte hit the jackpot in the Win and Money Necklaces, while Megan and Katie celebrated the start of spring in the Fluffy Heart and Buttercup Large Necklaces.
