Tatty Devine's Guide to: Victoria
All aboard! Have you discovered our Year of the Bus jewellery, yet? We’ve teamed up with the London Transport Museum to celebrate some of our favourite London locations in a playful new collection. Planning a visit to Victoria? Join store star Charlotte as she shares her favourite SW places. From afternoon tea at hidden hideaway to catching a blockbuster exhibition, you won't be stuck for fun things to do! "People might not know it but Victoria's charity shops are amazing! Retromania Fara on Upper Tachbrook Street is a real treasure trove. You can find Liberty shirts, vintage dresses and anything you could ever dream of inside. I almost don't want to tell people about it, it's just that good. Head down towards the Houses of Parliament and catch a film at the new Modernist inspired Curzon Victoria. You can watch free movies from their archive in the mezzanine area while you wait for your friends. Ooh, get in early before 2pm on the weekend and you can snap up an Earlybird ticket! Tate Britain has a special place in my heart as my mum used to work there! I remember going to play in her office after school and wandering through the galleries taking it all in - especially Damien Hirst's Mother and Child Divided. It's still one of my all time favourite places to visit. When you plan to make an art pilgrimage to Tate Britain, hop off the tube a stop early and grab breakfast at Pimlico Fresh. They always have a rainbow array of fresh juices and it's pretty hard to resist the daily specials, too! No day trip would be complete without cake and Peggy Porschen is your girl. Tucked just behind Victoria Coach Station (technically Belgravia, but it's only a three minute walk!) this pastel pink shop front hides cake heaven.  I love Victoria because it's got everything you could ever need... especially if you go off the beaten path. It's only a brisk stroll away from Pimlico, where you can get the best chips at Pimlico Traditional Fish & Chips, or drop into the old school Delizie D'Italia for really good coffee." Thank you for taking us on a tour and sharing your favourite Victoria hot spots, Charlotte! Show your love for Victoria with the new London Transport Museum collection now.
