Catch the eye of every young debutant in our Jane Austen Cameo Brooch. Among the pages of Jane Austen's third published novel in 1814, a mystery silhouette appeared. Presumed to be Jane Austen, we agree with her biographer's assertation that “who would insert, in a copy of Mansfield Park, a portrait of any other Jane than its author?” Laser cut in recycled glossy back acrylic, this once-baffling bust is layered over pearly cream acrylic, topped with a gold-tone frame and set against a brooch back. This striking Tatty Devine design is an absolute classic. Slightly pearly, to give it a bit of glitz, but definitely something for everyday wear. I got so many positive comments about it when I wore it to work the day it arrived. A wonderful addition to my TD collection.
