Big Day Out 2023

Team Tatty, back together again! Hitting up our hometown of London, the Tatty Devine team travelled from Kent and Isle of Wight to Bath and East London (wheww!) for a fun-filled day of arcade games, finding our sea legs and tucking into tasty treats! Ready to take a look at the highlights?

What a beautiful bunch! Starting the day off right, first on the agenda was coffee and croissants. Kicking back at Knockbox Coffee, it was a drizzly yet delightful start to the day with pastries bigger than our heads with a side order of catching up and creating canopies with our brollies!

Next stop: to the Tudor House! Armed with fistfuls of golden coins, it was time to hit up the Novelty Automation Museum for the quirkiest of days out. Nestled in the streets of West London is a treasure trove of ‘“a collection of satirical homemade arcade machines” from the serene Instant Eclipse, creepy Chiropodists to Team Tatty's fave, the Expressive Photobooth.

After being Autofrisked and Alien Probed (yes, you need to check out this alternative arcade!) it was time for Tatty Devine London takeover: stocked up on spending money what did Team Tatty get up to?

Ready for some sightseeing, team Kent popped on their walking shoes for a mosey around town. Dressed in their best Tatty Devine, it was non-stop compliments on her Jukebox Necklace for Faye - “I can’t quite believe how many people stopped to tell me they loved my jewellery, I felt like a superstar!”

Smile… with sweet treats in mind, a slice of our team hopped straight on the number 19 all the way to Anya Hindmarch’s instagrammable Anya Cafe for chit-chats over cloud cakes, truffle cherries and smiley sponges all inspired by iconic motifs in the designer's work. YUM!

Ready to tuck into the best of vegan nachos from Club Mexicana! It was a quick trip to the home of our bricks and mortar store, Seven Dials for Mia and Lynda! Cucumber Alley? Count us in!

Sliding over to Hyde Park for a prosecco picnic: no Champagne Glasses in sight, it was all about the paper cup, picky bits and statement patterned picnic blankets - leopard print is neutral!

Perched right next to the lake, like ducks to water, Team Tatty couldn’t resist a spin around the Serpentine. Putting the pedal to the metal on the pedalos, Elysia was certainly glad she skipped leg day the night before - offt, that was hard work! Switching for the passenger seat, it was time to catch a tan, between on-water poetry readings to boat races… Who won? Cap’n Daria, of course!

What a great day - until next year!
