Party Hard

Way back in October, we donned our best cha-cha heels and headed to co-founder Harriet’s house, armed with balloons, maraschino cherries, and as many knick-knacks as we could carry to shoot our SS19 collection: Flamingo-A-Go-Go.
“I wanted a photographer who shoots events, happenings with lots of movement, someone who could shoot this collection and really capture the feel of the collection. So naturally, once we found Will, we had a house party!” - Harriet Vine
Phew! Need a break from doing the Mashed Potato? Join us over in the props zone, where a pretty retro cheese and pineapple hedgehog slowly took shape, including the hotly debated addition of syrupy sweet maraschino cherries for that extra pop of colour. Add a couple of bowls of cheesy goldfish and voila! Hang on, this looks awfully like our Christmas party spread…
It was full Hairspray vibes over in Harriet’s bedroom, with up to twenty people crammed in, bouff-ing, backcombing and bobby pinning. Our incredible team on set created gravity-defying ‘dos for our models, channeling 1960’s pageant mixed with 1950’s girl group and more than a pinch of John Water’s wow factor… yes, they’re heated rollers and no, you’re not wearing ‘em on the dancefloor!
