Art Jewellery made in Britain

All Tatty Devine jewellery is designed in our original London studio by co-founders Harriet Vine MBE and Rosie Wolfenden MBE, before being laser-cut in small batches and handmade in Kent by our team of expert makers. Designed for life, each piece is crafted with longevity in mind and couldn’t be further from fast fashion. We’re also proud to offer all our customers a repair service across the majority of our collections - our jewellery can truly last a lifetime. Score!

100% Renewable Energy at Tatty Devine

Energy used to make our jewellery and run our studio is 100% matched by renewable sources, plus any gases used are fully carbon offset through our energy provider’s partner, Renewable World. Our partner Teemill’s certified organic cotton t-shirts and jumpers are printed to order and produced with minimal waste in a factory powered by renewable energy. Where possible we make sure we're leaving a greener footprint on the planet, our studios and stores use sustainably sourced toilet paper and have plenty of eco refills at the ready for cleaning products.

Recyclable Packaging at Tatty Devine

We’re committed to finding the right type of packaging, that ensures the longevity of your precious pieces whilst having the lowest impact on the environment. Read on to discover exactly what your Tatty Devine boxes are about: We’ve made the switch and going forward, all-new printed materials will be on (deep breath!) - FSC® Certified, ISO 9001 Certified, ISO 14001 Certified, 100% Green Energy Certified paper! That ranges from our Cards of Authenticity to Gift Vouchers: our printers are even affiliated with both the Woodland Trust Carbon Capture Scheme and the Forest Carbon Schemes. Heads up, due to our strict no-waste policy we’ll be using up any existing printed materials we have in stock.

All Tatty Devine jewellery is presented in 100% recyclable gift boxes, safely tucked in with FSC® certified eco-friendly tissue paper which has been printed with soy-based inks. We’re working on finding an alternative to foam (not currently recyclable) and mailing bags, as they’re only part-recyclable - watch this space!

We’re also working with our local recycling providers to ensure we recycle as much of our waste, however little, as possible.

All our acrylic is sourced and manufactured in the UK where possible, with any resulting waste recycled or turned into decorations for our stores/studio. In 2019, we were thrilled to partner with WWF UK on our first ever 100% recycled acrylic collection (with 100% recycled packaging too!), and are now making the transition across as many of our products as possible once the variety of colours and quality become available. Tatty Devine accepts no substitutes when it comes to acrylic and you shouldn’t either!  Look out for our new ‘Recycled Acrylic’ product badge and collection page for those of you who prefer to shop more sustainably. All our chains and findings are sourced from our trusted supplier in China (the only manufacturer of our iconic plectrum charm), ordering just twice a year to reduce our carbon footprint.

Team Culture at Tatty Devine

We welcome members of Team Tatty from all walks of life and backgrounds. We pride ourselves on creating a happy and fun environment, working collectively as a team and see ourselves above all as a family. As a company we support the development of all people who work with us - from our makers to managers, everyone has the opportunity to be challenged and develop their career. Not only that but we've heard on the grapevine that we throw the best Christmas party out there - plus all staff get their birthday off work.
