Step inside Tatty Devine's I Heart Holi Party

Wow! It's just one week since we threw our bold and bright I Heart Holi Party to celebrate the launch of our Spring Summer 2013 jewellery collection. Over 300 guests joined Tatty Devine co-founders Rosie and Harriet to enjoy a blast of colour on the same day as India’s spectacular Holi festival. It all took place at iHeart Studios in Bermondsey, and was sponsored by delicious Midori melon liqueur. The air was heady with anticipation of the main event of the night, when our guests would be given a rainbow of powder paints to throw in traditional Holi style. Before the throwing commenced, guests got in the mood with colourful drinks such as the ‘Holi Midori’ at Midori's pop-up cocktail bar and spicy snacks from Kolkata Street Food. Portraits took place in the iHeart Studios photo booth, and beside an elaborate vintage Indian Ambassador car from Karma Kabs.  As for the tunes? DJs Blackout and Robots in Disguise's frontwoman Dee Plume took to the decks:

The new jewellery collection is all about expressing yourself with fabulous colour and our guests were treated to experiences from some of our favourite artists and designers. Cult beauty brand Illamasqua provided dramatic make-up transformations, top UK henna artist Riffat Bahar created beautiful henna art and glitter tattoos, and the fabulous Nancy Mc and Leanne C adorned guests’ nails with exclusive Tatty Devine inspired designs:

Guests lucky enough to get their hands on VIP goodie bags were treated to Tatty Devine jewellery and surprises from Pretty Polly, Eylure, Crazy Colour, Dishoom, Clipper Teas, method, Montagne Jeunesse and Rosie Wonders: We also hosted a party pop-up shop featuring the full Spring Summer 2013 collection at 20% off and an amazing ribbon game with even more Tatty Devine jewellery up for grabs! Girl band Stooshe struck a pose with Rosie and Harriet in the iHeart Studios photobooth: Our favourite paper cutter artist Rob Ryan arrived head to toe in white, ready to celebrate with us: District MTV's crew filmed all the I Heart Holi madness as it happened.
