Black Lives Matter: Resources to Fight Racism
It is time for change, time to fight against the systemically racist world we live in and time to contribute towards a better future. The brutalities imposed upon George Floyd and all those before him, have compelled us to read, listen, talk and start educating ourselves on how white privilege affects the lives of black people and every breath they take. We must take time out to learn black history and accept there is still so much more work to do before we can break down this system which is built on inequality and we urge you to do the same.
It is not going to happen overnight and we must keep listening.
Standing by in silence is not an option, as a brand with a platform we pledge to use this to amplify black and POC voices and to be actively anti-racist, not as experts, but as allies who are ready to hold ourselves accountable to do better for the black community.
Tatty Devine is having these important conversations as a team so that we can make a lasting change through our own actions. We have been signing petitions, writing to our MPs, raising our voices and donating money where possible, below are some links so you can do the same.
