MAKING CRYSTAL SHARD NECKLACES - AT THE SHARD!

Last week we got high with 40 of you...

Yes, high. At our very special jewellery making workshop 1,014ft above London at The View from The Shard!

The workshop was the last to mark our 15th Birthday celebrations this year, where we showed guests how to make an exclusive Crystal Shard Necklace at our highest event yet... at The Shard! We originally launched our Crystal Shard Necklace in Spring 2011, and brought it back this year as part of our 15th Birthday Collection - the version made at The Shard was an extra special design made exclusively for the workshop.

To kick the evening off, we took a 24 second trip (yes, we counted!) up two lifts to the dizzying heights of the 69th floor - what a view! Which London landmarks can you spot?

Upon arrival, our guests were treated to mini bottles of Freixenet and orange juice in Bespoke Barware vintage milk bottles, along with macaroons baked by Alice's Bakery (the salted caramel ones were our fave!) and alcoholic cocktail sweets from Smith & Sinclair.

After filling ourselves up on sweet treats it was time to get making our Crystal Shard Necklaces, on possibly the longest table ever. Well, we did have to fit 40 of you!

And here's the finished necklace! We also opened a pop up shop especially for our guests to do a spot of Christmas shopping, plus we even gave away a Tatty Devine bundle worth £150 to one lucky winner. All in all it was an amazing night - now it's time to get planning on where out next big workshop should be! Any suggestions?
