Equal Power: Free Online Workshops with Fawcett Society

We have been working with the Fawcett Society since 2018 and earlier this year, on International Women's Day, celebrated the launch of our 3rd charitable collection with the Fawcett Society. One of the main pieces from this collection is a call for Equal Power, and to raise awareness of their three-year campaign to get more women in all our diversity into politics at every level. Each piece sold from the jewellery collection donates £3 to Fawcett Society, to help fund the vital work they do, and we also have T-shirts and Jumpers by Teemill too which donate £1 per item sold!

This Summer, because of the coronavirus, they are running a series of FREE online training workshops for women. The workshops will cover a range of community organising and leadership, getting into politics and using your voice online. Their programme also includes sessions specifically for women who are Black, Asian or part of a minority ethnicity.

50:50 Parliament support women getting into politics: 50 women inspired by the campaign stood in the last general election, and 9 MPs were elected. If you're thinking about it, we urge you to take part in one or as many of their sessions as you can to allow yourself to be inspired and gain the skills and knowledge to get more politically active.
