You're invited to Tatty Devine's MBE celebration!
August 13, 2018 - Charlotte Prichard
This week, Rosie and Harriet are headed to Buckingham Palace to receive MBEs for Services to the Fashion Industry. We are very proud and honoured to be awarded, especially on the 60th anniversary of the Queen's coronation. We'd like to thank our customers for their support over the years with a very special MBE celebration! You're invited to celebrate with us in right royal style at our Brick Lane and Monmouth Street stores on Friday 7th June. Enjoy sweet treats courtesy of Hackney based confectioners Meringue Girls and raise a glass to Rosie and Harriet with Chapel Down English sparkling wine. Rosie and Harriet will also be making an appearance in each store over the course of the afternoon with their MBE medals and to give us all the gossip from the ceremony. Best of all? We've worked with independent artist and Tatty Devine collaborator Mark Pawson to create a limited edition badge inspired by the MBE medal. The exclusive design hangs from official MBE ribbon, made by British craftsmen Toye Kenning and Spencer. Harriet says, "When we created the very first Tatty Devine collection back in 2000, we made special badges to attach to a zine accompanying the jewellery. These MBE badges commemorate a very special moment in Tatty Devine's history and we want you to be part of it!" Want to get your hands on a MBE badge? The first 100 customers to place an order online from midnight on Thursday 6th June will receive a badge whilst stocks last. The first 100 customers make a purchase at our Brick Lane store and the first 100 at our Monmouth Street store on Friday will receive a limited edition MBE badge from 12pm whilst stocks last. Get more information here. Want to keep up with all the gossip from the big day? Follow us on Instagram to get the first look at Rosie and Harriet's medals and send your congratulations to the girls on Twitter.
