Tatty Devine X Pulp

Calling all Pulp fans! Forget Disco 2000, it’s Disco forever… with More Pulp! Pulp originally called on us to design their reunion-tour-ready band merch to commemorate their This Is What We Do For An Encore tour. We can’t quite believe we’re saying this, but we’ve got even more designs to add to Tatty Devine X Pulp. Keep scrolling to see!

Ever since they met at art school, Co-Founders Rosie and Harriet's friendship has been soundtracked by beloved musicians from Belle and Sebastian to Bowie and 90s legends PULP - how many nights have they spent dancing to Common People? (Too many to count!) Since 1999, the founding year of Tatty Devine, Pulp has influenced our jewellery designs from very vintage Jarvis Cocker-inspired specs to the namesake of our retrospective touring exhibition, Misshapes: The Making of Tatty Devine but this time… we’re making it official…

“Dream collaboration! Pulp has always been part of our journey into creativity, knowing it was ok to sit outside the path that everyone else was taking.” - Harriet Vine MBE, Co-Founder

With months of manifestation, multiple dance breaks to His N Hers and Isle of Wight Festival tickets under our belt, it was a dream come true to hop on Zoom call with iconic frontman Jarvis Cocker to chat over marvellous band merch - yes, it was a true fangirl moment! We took to the drawing board to imagine must-have Pulp jewellery for every music lover: we’re talking iconic sing-a-long lyrics and pop culture logos, recreated in laser cut and hand-inked acrylic.

Meet me at the merch stand…

First designed to celebrate Sheffield’s own indie stars’ reunion tour and now sticking around to honour their first studio album in 24 years… Enter a Different Class of band merchandise with glossy white speech bubbles etched with your favourite lyrics and classic logos recreated in Brit-popping pink ink, and shining black and silver mirror acrylic, all designed in East London and handmade by our small team of expert makers in Kent.

"You no longer have to open your mouth to make a statement. We will do it for you. It’s our pleasure..." - Jarvis Cocker on Tatty Devine X Pulp

Meet your new headlining accessories: we’re making a case for 90s cool with Pulp’s iconic bubble logo transformed into easy-to-wear band pins and matching necklace. Pop Pulp Brooch in Mirror on your best denim jacket and storm the mainstage ‘Somewhere in a field in Hampshire’ or layer up on lyrics with a Pulp Necklace in Pink and some Jarvis-approved speech bubbles…

Showcasing the band's unique sense of style and witty lyricism, presented in Tatty Devine’s signature speech bubble charms: how did we choose just a few songs, you ask?! A: Hours and hours of flicking through songbooks and pressing repeat on our cassette player. Available as brooches and necklaces, these absolute belters are made with 100% recycled acrylic and look great styled en masse.

Pulp Speech Bubble Necklace - Come Alive

And by the way,’ our brand new band merch is here! We've given our iconic acrylic speech bubble necklace, ‘More’ Pulp action as we ‘Come Alive’ with a new etched and hand-inked necklace and speech bubble brooch for your collection. In honour of Spike Island, a track of the new album: you'll be 'shouting and pointing' in this Tatty Devine X Pulp pin.

Sing along with the common people” We’re paying homage to Pulp’s 1995 hit with our Co-Founder’s favourite lyrics! Choose from playful prose with the I’ll See What I Can Do Brooch, also available as a pop lyric-adorned pendant, and our ode to wild weekends with the Dance, Drink & Screw Brooch and Necklace - best paired with Jarvis-style oversized collars.

Inspired by the first song of Pulp’s fifth studio album, Different Class, we’re calling all misshapes, mistakes and misfits to adorn your next gig outfit in lyrics from Pulp’s ode to outcasts: Mis-Shapes!

Tuck in your new go-to piece of music memorabilia is served with our 'Raised on a diet of broken biscuits' embellished brooch and speech bubble necklace.
