How To Make Jewellery With Tatty Devine at Drink Shop Do

Here at Tatty Devine HQ, we are very partial to a bit of glitter. It's everywhere in our Autumn Winter 2011 collection - from our trailing Gold Ivy Vines Necklace to our sleepy black Fox Brooch. Last night gave us the perfect excuse to indulge our love for the sparkly stuff as it was the official launch party for our new book, How To Make Jewellery With Tatty Devine. Filled with Rosie and Harriet's extensive design know-how, it shows you how to transform ordinary objects into trendsetting accessories. Hosted in the beautiful surroundings of design haven and cafe Drink Shop Do, Tatty fans were greeted with specially created Tattytini cocktails complete with miniature stirrers which doubled as cute hair pins!

Our designers Rosie and Harriet were both newly coiffed, ready to meet eager craft enthusiasts and sign copies of the book.

Guests were able to try their hands at one of the projects featured in the book - Tape Measure Rosette Brooches.

Halfway there...

Things started getting competitive...

Soon everybody wanted to join in!

Say hello to our talented studio girls!

Eye spy our Cartoon Eyes Rings...

It was super intern Cheryl's last night with Tatty. Love the Moustache Necklace teamed with sheer polka dots.

Drink Shop Do has everything - even a mini sweet shop!

Seriously tempting tea sets...

Have you ordered your copy yet?

Who said moustaches aren't for girls?

Becki's Lobster Giant Necklace meets his even bigger brother.

"Just how DO you make a Tattytini?" we hear you ask.

The answer involves bubbles...

A sprinkling of purple glitter...

And a teensy bit of Tatty!

Thank you to everyone at Drink Shop Do for delicious cocktails and providing such an amazing venue. We'll definitely be back with our needles and wool for Knit Night! We loved meeting so many Tatty fans desperate to pick up a signed copy of the book and start crafting. Drop into our Brick Lane or Covent Garden shops or take a peek at our online store to get yours.

P.S. Can't get enough of our party pics? We've uploaded even more onto our facebook fan page for you to enjoy.
