CLAIRE BARROW X TATTY DEVINE AT LONDON FASHION WEEK AW15
With designers, fashion bloggers, celebrities, models and photographers all descending on Somerset house, it could only mean one thing - London Fashion Week!
After teaming up with SIBLING at their LFW show last year, this season we were excited to collaborate with London based designer Claire Barrow. We created unique earrings for her High Flyers AW15 presentation, inspired by silk scarves billowing in the wind. Clear Perspex was laser etched with Claire's iconic penmanship before being individually hand curved, making each earring completely different.
We were blown away (metaphorically and literally) by Claire's collection, take a look...
The windswept models stood in front of fans, symbolising power women in a corporate workplace contrasting against the freedom of youth and the outdoor environment, one of Claire's major influences. It was amazing seeing her clothes and our earrings in movement, blowing in the breeze.
Claire's incredible illustrations appeared on wool, leather, screen-printed silk and cotton, with added accents of fur and knitwear throughout the collection. Delicate detailing and bold silhouettes sat hand in hand, showcasing Claire's prominent aesthetic.

"Rosie and I can’t get enough of Claire’s energy, which is omnipresent in her designs and illustration work. The aviatrix inspiration for our jewellery collaboration was like a spark – the dynamic of ideas coming together was really exciting to explore. We loved creating these unique earrings.” – Harriet
“I have wanted to work with Tatty Devine for a while and this season felt like a right fit with my collection and the earrings I wanted to create. As the collection is called High Flyers, we created trompe l'oeil earrings from Perspex, made to look like a Claire Barrow silk scarf blowing in the wind.” - Claire
