Liberty Pearl Pendant, £30

“I prefer liberty to chains of diamonds.” Lady Mary Wortley Montagu’s rallying cry against the trappings of aristocracy are represented in the infinitely wearable Liberty Pearl Pendant, a contemporary take on traditional jewellery motifs. A lady of letters and trailblazer of Western medicine, Lady Mary’s words of wisdom are expertly laser etched and hand-inked into the surface of a mesmerising pearlescent acrylic sphere, hand curved to mimic its namesake and suspended from an adjustable gold-tone chain.
